This is very nice. The vocals sound clearer than I think I ever remember your vocals sounding, and the melodies just soar in and out of Dave's synth lines. I especially LOVE the way you sing "memory" there in the early part. And later, "take hold of the dreams..." That's beautiful the way you sang that.
It's great that lyrically there's a wonderful wistfulness to this; Dave's piece just really evokes that sense so powerfully, don't it?
The arrangement's awesome, too... there's a nice interplay of vocals while leaving Dave's complex and subtle melodic stuff with plenty of breathing room.
 Glad to finally hear something else from you guys!!

This just adds to the Heliohrome Verona Legend. No one has seen any of their members for at least 5 years and yet they somehow manage to post a new song. Is this song an illusion? Do they sometime return at night when everyone is asleep.
Anyway I like that haunting synth line plodding along at it’s own pace like no one is going to rush it. Nice vox and great lyrics like your somehow lost in some strange place between DM land and the outside.

Oh man. There's a lot of sadness here. Even with the return to the tonic at the end of each 30-second-or-so progression has a feeling of hopelessness to it. I wanna cry now. Laurie's vocals (and beautiful poetry "autumn rain on my pillow"  ) are the only thing that keep me sitting here instead of doing something productive like searching for a nice sharp knife to take me outa this achingly beautiful, melancholy misery.
(Dave, I love that wandering "tetris" synth that just kinda prattles on in hallmark Cagey fashion behind CEG's vocals)

Well I missed you guys like hell but much as I hate to say it you aint missin' much here. Except music of course. Always that. I bught a house and moved in the interim and my internet connection sux @ 56K. I have all kinds of time to type before the song actually starts playing.  So, how ya been lol. Oops wait here it is...
Yep like an old shoe I swear, there's that voice yep great haunting music too. This was so cool I can't wait until next year!
